Enhanced ROBOT Autonomy
5G-ERA (5G Enhanced Robot Autonomy), aims alongside all other ICT-41 projects to provide an enhanced 5G experimentation facility and relevant Network Applications for 3rd party application developers so as to provide them with a 5G experimentation playground to test and qualify their applications.

A 5G-ERA middleware which enables cloud native resource provision over autonomous robots
Standardised APIs by integrating ROS with OSM

5G-ERA at IoT Solutions World Congress
From May 21-23, 2024, Barcelona hosted the brightest minds in industry and major global tech companies as IoT Solutions World Congress. Iquadrat Informatica S.L. presented 5GERA project achievements in Hall 1- stand number 60.
5G-ERA Tutorial at ICRA 2024
The 5G-ERA Tutorial was held with great success on the 13th of May at ICRA 2024 in Yokohama, Japan!
The tutorial was interactive and included presentations and demonstrations about networking and DevOp aspects of ROS under the connected robotics platform CROP while the participants had the opportunity to ask questions and perform hands-on experiences.
5G-ERA Plenary meeting at TWI Headquarters in Granta Park, near Cambridge, UK
On the 12th and 13th of September, the 5G-ERA consortium held its plenary meeting at the Faculty of Information Technology of Brno University of Technology in Brno, Czech Republic. The meeting was hosted by BringAuto, BUT & COG and the consortium had the opportunity to discuss the project’s progress and achieved results so far, as well as the next actions. Also, the partners had the opportunity to watch a live demonstration of the use case on 5G enhanced semi-autonomous transport by BUT and BringAuto as well as a tour in BUT & BringAuto offices.
