Iquadrat (IQU) recently showcased their Mobile B5G testbed at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2023 in Barcelona. The testbed demonstration focused on robot teleoperation for Ultra-Reliable Low-Latency Communications (URLLC) services of 5G networks, using Network Slicing technologies. The demo was well-received by attendees and was also presented in a two-day workshop. Anestis Dalgkitsis a senior researcher in Iquadrat, presented his latest work, NetROS-5G, at the Human-Robot Interaction (HRI) Conference 2023 in Stockholm, Sweden.
NetROS-5G is an experimental framework that orchestrates ROS 2 nodes in 5G networks that use Network Slicing. The same testbed used in the MWC demonstration evaluated the proposed framework’s performance. These demonstrations and presentations highlight Iquadrat’s continued commitment to advancing the capabilities of 5G networking.
